picture update

here's some things i've been meaning to post:

Happy 5 Year Anniversary D-rock

5 years ago today i shared my last first kiss.
the boy was so scared
we were sopping wet from playing out in the rain
and it was perfect.

this morning i made him his mom's recipe of biscuits & gravy, cut up some amazingly huge & beautiful strawberries, and even lit 5 candles in the biscuit for him. overall, i think it was a success.

i'm blessed to have this man. he's beautiful inside and out. makes me laugh till i cry almost daily. he's genuine & good hearted. oh yeah - and hot.

i sure do love st. patricks day!

on a personal note....

today i got word doTERRA is hiring for a front desk manager.
this really would be SUCH a fun job for me. i love their products, and would like a new job i get excited and passionate about.

but then reality hit me.
ouch

derek's getting the "family discount" on his tuition at Provo College - where i work. this saves us 21k on his tution. that's too important & huge. i can't quit my job, or even go less than full time here.

but it'll all be worth it in the end. when he gets paid what he DESERVES and i can stay home and craft and clean and cook all day.

heaven.
until then, i'll keep plugging away.

I've done a lot of new things in my house.
I purchased beaaaaaaautiful new drapes, got an amazing humung-o blue glass vase.

currently i'm working on a plate wall for my kitchen
& doing a stencil on 2 walls

sooo there's a lot going on at mi casa
i'll load pictures by tomorrow.

sooo i'm a quitter
im giving up on the 30 day challenge. i'm a busy woman!
my living room is done being "redecorated".
with my new draped, and new accessories its like a new room!

last night i got all my plates for my plate wall. i got 23 plates total plus the primer & white high gloss spray paint for about 40 bucks. I went to 3 DI's to get them all. i did the practice layout last night and i'm SOOO EXCITED
i'll post pics soon

today i'm painting my lamps for my bedroom bright yellow and keeping the white lampshade. i'm pretty stoked about it.

i am STOKED about this one.
as you know, i've recently changed my entry way decor a lot.
Last night i spent HOURS trying to make/add white muslin ruffles to the tops of my curtains, and failed miserably. the curtains had to go in the garbage.
